GRAPHITE

Graphite is a soft, oily , black solid substance that leaves traces on paper. Graphite, an oil return in lip machine's working parts rub against each other is used as a lubricant to reduce or prevent wear. Graphite can withstand very high temperatures. It fills the roughness on the metal surface by reducing the friction coefficient and provides a slippery smooth surface.

 

USAGE PLACES

  • Pencil making,

  • Lubrication of moving metal parts,

  • In casting and refractory industry due to its resistance to acid and fire,

  • As an additive in tires, car linings, matches and engine oils,

  • As an additive in high temperature greases,
